"I was born and raised in the Tacoma Area. After college, I went to work at a law firm whose main practice areas were in workers' compensation, social security disability, supplemental security income and personal injury. I began my career in 1979 as a legal secretary/legal assistant. In 1985, I began law school at night and graduated in December, 1988 and in 1989 I became an attorney. In 1992, I opened my own law practice and have been at the same location since that time. The rewarding part of my job is seeing the difference receiving benefits can mean in a person's life."

Cynthia graduated from University of Puget Sound in 1989, also known as Seattle University School of Law. She has completed the Washington State Bar.
